Visit our surf shop “Marea Llena”, where you will find all the necessary equipment for your surfing trips: decks, fins, leaches, wax, ding repairs, surf bags, surfboards ,etc.
If you do not want to travel with your surfboard, we have available surfboards for rent(softops) and also for sale. Also in “Marea Llena” surf shop you will find clothes for men an women and souvenir. Please contact us prior to your arrival to make sure we have a Surf Board ready for you.
Feel free to ask for private or group surf lesson at the bar! The perfect base camp if you want to surf in the best surf points of Guanacaste: Playa Grande, Tamarindo, Langosta, and very near from us: Playa Negra (considered one the best rights in the North Pacific).
But if you stay at Avellanas, you wont have to look for great surfing points in other beaches: You have them in front of our hotel...

Cabinas Las Olas surf lessons offer group lessons and also private lessons for beginner and intermediate surfers. We will provide students a solid foundation needed for growth in their surfing. Incorporating ocean knowledge and water safety we ensure a positive surfing experience.
